I won tickets to see Stephen Marley at The Boulder Theater this weekend!!!! There was only one winner, and it was meeeeeeeeee!!! I never win anything, this is SO DAMN AWESOME. O___O I've been having a bad week, so this makes me uber-happy~!! Mari and I are gonna rock it. Squeeeeeeeee!!!

I went one more time to the play to see Gale today, it was the last showing. (Next weekend the theater does a different set of plays, Gale was only in this one.) Concert was a-ma-zing. I've seen Gogol Bordello three times before, for their last few albums. Those three concerts were far more gypsy, and punk, and more of a DANCE PARTAY!

This concert was METAL. Nnnnngh it was amazing. The bass was HEAVY, and the songs were a little slower, and there were parts where people were just STOMPING along to the music ( Read more... )

I think if I had to pick one band to do the soundtrack of my life, it would have to be Gogol Bordello. Their music covers every mood of my life, and relates heavily to my life-experience. XD

My sleep schedule is all messed up from staying up super late yesterday to go to a play with some girls from playwriting class. Saw "Woman and Scarecrow" an Irish feminist black comedy. I'm going to see Sublime in a few hours! We're going to Red Rocks super-early because otherwise you have to hike up the mountain because the parking is really limited.
